More about me
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where my love for the outdoors took root. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Commercial Recreation and Tourism, I spent a decade in the outdoor and tourism industry, helping others discover the transformative power of nature.
My wellness journey deepened during my senior year of college when a yoga PE elective sparked what would become a 25-year practice. I've explored practices in ashtanga, anusara, hatha, hot yoga, iyengar, jivamukti, restorative, vinyasa, and yin. Today, I hold a 200-hour yoga teaching certification with over 100 hours of continuing education in yin yoga, prenatal yoga, yoga sculpt, vagus nerve therapy, breathwork, and meditation. I'm currently pursuing my 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification, expected completion in April 2026.
In 2004, I completed my master's degree in healthcare administration, launching a career in healthcare operations and finance. Over two decades, I've held progressive leadership roles focusing on operational excellence in outpatient and surgical services while ensuring exceptional patient care.
In 2025, I started a new role as Executive Director of the CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center in Boulder. I oversee operations for a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to athletic performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation—a role that perfectly blends my healthcare expertise with my passion for wellness and human performance.
I also maintain my wellness coaching practice as a certified Integrative Nutrition and Wellness Coach, offer yoga instruction, lead yoga & wellness retreats, and serve as an Independent Travel Advisor with Dell Adventures. Whether through personalized coaching, yoga sessions, immersive retreats, or expertly planned travel experiences, I help individuals create sustainable wellness and discover the transformative power of intentional experiences.
My teaching philosophy is simple: breath and posture are fundamentally connected. I guide students to find balance on and off the mat, learning when to hold on and when to let go—skills that serve us in every aspect of life.
I'd love to discuss how my integrative approach to wellness could support your journey.
